Since 1972, Miller Pecan Farms has been proud to provide high-quality, reliable pecan products. We package every product with the utmost care, ensuring it reaches you in perfect condition.
When Dean and Ruth Miller started the business, Ruth loved seeing the delight on her customers’ faces as they enjoyed her creations. Over 50 years later, that same passion continues—she is still dedicated to providing the very best products for every customer.
Here at the farm, we take great pride not only in our products but also in customer satisfaction. Dean and Ruth love what they do, and they warmly invite you to visit the farm—affectionately known as the “Nut House”!
When Dean was a young boy, he and his family would gather pecans each day. At night, Dean would crack them one by one using a squirrel cracker attached to a high chair.
Afterward, he and his sisters would pick the pecans out. One night, frustrated with the chore, little Dean exclaimed, “When I grow up, I am never going to look at another pecan in my life!”
Of course, Dean changed his mind—and he went on to build a business that now cracks more pecans in a single day than his family could in a whole season back then.

Open Year-Round at Miller Pecan Farms
We are proud to welcome customers all year long. During our regular season, September 1 through January 1, we are open seven days a week to serve you fresh pecans, candies, and other farm favorites. Monday through Saturday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Sunday 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
During the off-season, we are open Wednesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and are happy to schedule appointments for special visits or pecan cracking.

History of Miller Pecan Farms
Our Beginning
Dean and Ruth started with one pecan cracker, purchased to crack pecans for their neighbors. They had their children help as a way to teach them the value of money. Over time, word spread about the Miller family’s small side business, and they purchased additional crackers to keep up with demand. After a few years, they expanded further by purchasing a grove of 1,500 pecan trees and ten more crackers, and the rest, as they say, was history.
Candy Kitchen
About five years after starting their custom pecan cracking business, Mrs. Miller decided to add candy-making to her repertoire. She began with praline pecans, and the business has grown ever since. Today, our store offers more than 85 different candies, nuts, mixes, and other delicious products. Stop by and see for yourself just how tasty Mrs. Miller’s creations are—we offer free samples every day!
